County Ambassador Training is a free, self-paced online program for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of Prince Edward County — whether you're working in tourism, hospitality, customer service, or simply want to better support visitors, friends, or neighbours.

This isn't high school. There are no textbooks or public grades – just five interactive lessons designed to be completed in 3–4 hours. You’ll explore the County’s attractions, geography, history, local industries, and unique quirks — along with practical tips for delivering welcoming, inclusive visitor experiences.

You can revisit the material as much as you need and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Course Lessons

We acknowledge that training on how to welcome visitors to The County has happened for many years, in many forms, facilitated by many people – including the first people to teach others about this land: the Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg (Mississauga), Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee. We aim to build upon that knowledge.
